Search & request

Top 10 & coming soon

Top 10 most popular titles on each service right now (UK, ranked by TMDB popularity — not the services' own charts). In cinemas → Coming soon lists the most anticipated films due out in the next 4 months. Refreshes itself every morning. Request sends a title to Radarr/Sonarr through Seerr.

loading...

Seasonal libraries

Search your library for a theme (e.g. christmas, halloween), tick the titles and move them into their own Plex library, e.g. Christmas Movies / Christmas TV. They leave the main Movies / TV Shows library, get the label in Plex, and show up as a row on every Plex user's Home screen. Outside its dates a season's library is removed from Plex and its films deleted (see Schedule).

Schedule

Each season's library opens a set number of days before the holiday and closes after it. Opening moves its films in from the main library and re-downloads any that were deleted last year. Closing permanently deletes its films and removes its Plex library (they're downloaded again next year), except films another season needs within a month and films on the exclusions list, which go back to the main library. The list fills itself from the keyword and, while in season, from the season's IMDb list (Radarr downloads those films, then they're moved into the season's library). Remove a film to keep it out for good. Checked every few hours (paused by PAUSE AUTOMATION).

Plex users

Plex Home profiles: add or remove them, set their PIN, choose which libraries they see, and limit streams. Stream limits and "no 4K transcoding" aren't Plex settings - the dashboard checks what's playing every few seconds and stops a stream that breaks the rule, with a message on the viewer's screen.

loading...

Watchlist downloads

Anything a Plex profile adds to its Plex watchlist is requested in Seerr and downloaded automatically (films whole, TV all seasons). Checked every 15 minutes. Profiles with a PIN can't be read and are skipped.

loading...

Remote access

How the house is reached from outside. requests.wilkinsonhome.co.uk and dashboard.wilkinsonhome.co.uk go through the Cloudflare Tunnel, so they keep working when EE changes your home IP. The spare name wilkinsonhome.ddns.net follows your IP automatically (checked every 5 minutes).

Titles or path fragments that automated cleanup/duplicate removal will never touch.

Garden

Front Left

R Front

Bedroom PTZ

Live from the Hikvision recorder (192.168.1.150). Video only streams while this tab is open.

Server browser

checking... Open in its own window

Firefox running on the server: every page you open here comes from the server's internet connection, not your device's. Bookmarks, logins and tabs are kept between visits. Administrators only.

The browser window only works when the dashboard is opened over https (browsers block the video it uses on plain http). At home open https://192.168.1.200:8443 (first time: Advanced → Proceed on the certificate warning), or https://plexserver.tailb2557f.ts.net on a device with Tailscale, and use this tab there.

The server browser isn't running right now (container "browser").

Claude Code

checking... Open in its own window

Claude Code running on the server, with full control of it (the same as SSH as root). Closing this tab leaves the session running, so you can come back to it. Type /exit to end it; the next visit starts a fresh one. Administrators only.

The Claude Code terminal isn't running on the server right now.

Background jobs

Scans, cleanups, rebalancing, backups, Docker updates and the scheduled jobs (stuck downloads every 30 min, unmonitor every 6 h...) run here. Click a job to see its output. This list is kept in memory, so it starts empty again when the dashboard restarts - the Audit log is the permanent record.

Read me — what every tab and button does

Every account sees only the tabs it has been given (Accounts tab). View access hides the buttons that change things. Buttons marked red really change or move files and always ask first. Anything with a Preview button next to it: run Preview first — it only lists what would happen. Long actions run in the background; follow them on the Jobs tab.

Top bar (every page)
Open app ▾
Quick links to Plex, Sonarr, Radarr, SABnzbd, Tdarr, Seerr and the other apps.
Android app
Downloads the dashboard app for Android (works over Tailscale).
Password
Change your own password. Signs your other devices out.
2FA
Turn on two-step sign-in with an authenticator app (scan the QR code).
Log out
Signs this browser out.
Arrange boxes (every tab)
Arrange boxes / Done
Turns arranging on and off for the tab you're on. Buttons inside boxes are paused while arranging.
⠿ handle
Drag to move a box (or click it and use the arrow keys).
⇔ right edge
Drag sideways to change the width; it snaps to 1, 2, 3… columns or full width.
⇕ bottom edge
Drag up/down to change the height. A box shorter than its contents scrolls inside.
⇲ corner
Width and height together. Double-click any grip to put that back to automatic.
Reset to default
Puts this tab's boxes back to the original order and sizes.

Layouts are saved per account and per tab, so every person can arrange their own.

Overview
PAUSE AUTOMATION
Stops all scheduled jobs (cleanup, unmonitor, stuck downloads, seasonal, folder checks) and pauses the SABnzbd download queue. Plex keeps working.
RESUME AUTOMATION
Starts all of that again.
PAUSE TDARR / RESUME TDARR
Stops new conversions on every Tdarr machine (anything already converting finishes) / lets them start again.
Storage pool
How full each drive is. Information only.
CPU / GPU
Live load of the server, Dylan's PC and the Laptop (via Netdata). A host shows Netdata not answering when it's off or its firewall blocks port 19999.
Folder paths → Check now
Checks that Radarr, Sonarr, SABnzbd and Seerr save into the Movies / TV Shows folders and fixes their settings if not. Runs itself every 6 hours.
Folder paths → Preview fix / Fix now
Tidies stray download folders listed under Needs a look: empty leftovers are deleted, the rest is offered to Sonarr/Radarr to import, and whatever they don't take goes to quarantine (restorable for 10 days). Films sitting at a drive root are moved into Movies.
Network — per port
Live speed of each of the server's network ports. Information only.
Wake Dylan's PC / Wake Laptop
Sends a Wake-on-LAN signal to switch that PC on (CPU / GPU box, or the button that appears when a PC isn't answering). Needs Wake-on-LAN turned on in the PC's BIOS and network adapter settings, and a network cable.
Disks — Server / Dylan's PC / Laptop
How hard each hard drive is working: % busy (green under 60%, amber 60-90%, red over 90% = the drive is the bottleneck), read and write speed, the 10-minute peak and a 10-minute graph. Server drives are named media1/2/3 and System drive and show how full they are; the PCs show how full each drive letter is. Information only.
Network — Dylan's PC / Laptop
The same for each adapter on those PCs (wired and Wi-Fi), read from their Netdata. Shows "isn't answering" when the PC is off or its firewall blocks port 19999.
Tdarr — converting now
What each Tdarr machine is converting and how long it has left.
RUN DUPLICATE SCAN
Looks for films/episodes you have twice and reports them (Duplicates tab). The nightly 2am run is the one that quarantines the worse copy.
RESYNC SONARR + RADARR
Repairs stale paths in their records, then rescans everything on disk. No files are moved.
RUN LIBRARY SCAN
Asks Sonarr and Radarr to rescan their folders.
Cleanup → Preview / Execute for real
Finds titles nobody has watched for a long time and moves them to quarantine (deleted after 10 days unless restored). Never touches anything streaming, converting or on the Exclusions list.
Radarr/Sonarr paths → Preview / Fix paths
Points their records at where folders really are (after folders were moved by hand). Records only, no file moves.
Stop watching titles at best quality → Preview / Unmonitor now
Unmonitors films/episodes that already reached their best quality so they aren't downloaded again. Runs itself every 6 hours.
Bloat files → Preview / Delete bloat files
Deletes junk next to your media: samples, .nfo/.txt/.url files, fake .exe files, screenshots. Permanent.
Rebalance storage → Preview / Execute for real
Moves titles from fuller drives to emptier ones (copy, check, then delete the original). Slow; one title at a time.
Media

Recently added, Currently playing, Watch history and Upcoming episodes/films. Information only.

Streaming
Search box / Clear
Search any film or show; results show whether you already have it.
Service chips
Pick a streaming service to see its top 10 (TMDB popularity, UK).
Refresh now
Rebuilds the top-10 lists (they also refresh every morning).
Request
Sends the title to Radarr/Sonarr through Seerr to download (TV = all seasons).
Seasonal
Schedule (click a season)
When each season's library opens and closes, and the titles in it. Remove keeps a title out for good; Put back undoes that.
Run schedule now
Opens/closes seasons straight away instead of waiting for the next check.
Save season
Adds or changes a season (name, keyword, date or "easter", optional IMDb list).
Search / Tick all / Untick all / Move ticked to seasonal library
Find titles for a theme and move the ticked ones into that season's own Plex library.
Back to main library
Moves a title from a seasonal library back to Movies / TV Shows.
Preview end of season / End season now → delete
Shows / does what closing a season does: its films are deleted (re-downloaded next year) and its Plex library removed, except titles another season needs or that are on Exclusions.
Plex users
Add user
Creates a Plex Home profile.
Edit
Change the PIN (or remove it), which libraries the profile sees, and its stream limit / no-4K-transcoding rule.
Remove
Deletes the profile from your Plex Home.
Stop
Stops one of their streams right now (they see a message on screen).
Watchlist
Download watchlists
Master switch. When on, every 15 minutes each Plex profile's watchlist is read and anything new is requested in Seerr (then Radarr/Sonarr download it).
On (per person)
Turn one person's watchlist downloads on or off. Titles already requested stay requested.
Check now
Reads every watchlist straight away instead of waiting for the next 15-minute check.
Their requests
Click a person to see what their watchlist asked for and where it is now (requested / downloading, in library, partly in library).
Browser (administrators only)
Browser window
A Firefox browser running on the server. Websites see the server's internet connection as you, so it's like browsing from home wherever you are.
Reconnect
Reconnects the window if it froze or went blank. The browser itself (tabs, logins) keeps running.
Open in its own window
Opens the same browser full-size in a new browser tab.
Remote access
Home IP / No-IP
Your current internet address and what wilkinsonhome.ddns.net points at. They should match; the server fixes it by itself within 5 minutes when EE changes your IP.
Update IP now
Sends your current address to No-IP straight away.
Cloudflare Tunnel
The connection that carries requests.wilkinsonhome.co.uk and dashboard.wilkinsonhome.co.uk. "Connected (4)" is normal. It doesn't depend on your home IP.
Sites
Whether the two public addresses answer. Checked from the server, so it shows the site is up; phones on mobile data also need their DNS to have caught up.
*arr / SAB
Update all
Refreshes every show (Sonarr) / film (Radarr): new episode info, rescans files.
Search wanted
Searches for everything missing and monitored.
SABnzbd
Download queue and speed. Information only.

Automatic in the background: every 30 minutes downloads that finished but got stuck are imported, dead queue entries cleared and missing titles searched again (pauses with PAUSE AUTOMATION).

Tdarr
Priority (top of the tab)
The Laptop converts everything. Dylan's PC only joins in while more than 10 files are waiting (or when the Laptop is off), and is switched back to 0 GPU conversions after the queue has been at 10 or fewer for 5 minutes. Its GPU slider is switched between 0 and its normal number automatically.
Worker sliders
How many GPU/CPU conversions and health checks each machine runs at once. 0 = that machine does none. Changes apply immediately.

New downloads are sent to Tdarr automatically when Sonarr/Radarr import them.

Docker
Stop / Start / Restart
Controls a container (an app).
Pull
Downloads the newest version of the app's image (doesn't switch to it yet).
Recreate
Rebuilds the container on the newest image with the same settings — this is how you update an app.
Ports in use
Which ports each app uses. Information only.
Duplicates
Open folder
Opens that copy in Filebrowser so you can look at it.
Delete
Permanently deletes that copy. Refuses copies Radarr/Sonarr use and the best remaining copy.
Quarantine
Restore
Puts the item back where it came from.
Extend 10 days
Gives it 10 more days before it is deleted.
Delete now
Deletes it permanently straight away.
CLEAN EXPIRED NOW
Deletes everything whose 10 days are up (normally happens by itself).
Refresh
Reloads the list.
Exclusions
Add
A title or part of a folder path that cleanup and duplicate removal must never touch (never delete / favourite / protected collection / currently watching).
Delete
Removes it from the list.
Backups
RUN BACKUP NOW
Backs up all app settings, databases and scripts (not your media). Also runs every Sunday at 5am.
Download
Downloads a backup zip.
Jobs

Every background job (scans, cleanup, backups, Docker updates and the scheduled ones) with its output. All / Running / Finished / Failed filter the list; click a job to read its output. The list empties when the dashboard restarts — the Audit log keeps the permanent record.

Audit Log

Everything anyone (or the automation) changed, newest first. Information only.

CCTV
Camera boxes
Live video from each camera (smaller, smooth stream). Only streams while the CCTV tab is open. Arrange / resize the boxes like any tab.
Full quality
Opens that camera large in full quality (4K on Garden, Front Left and R Front). If your browser can't play the 4K format it switches to the smaller stream and says so.

Give other accounts access with the CCTV permission on the Accounts tab.

Accounts (administrators only)
Add account / Edit
Create or change a dashboard login: which tabs it sees (none / view / full), administrator, "can sign in from anywhere" (public link), reset its 2FA, disable it.
Claude Code (administrators only)
Reconnect / Open in its own window
The Claude Code terminal running on the server — full control of the server, like SSH as root. Type /exit to end the session.
